In this tutorial we will go over how I create rocks!. This tutorial is focused around sculpting. So we won't be using photo based alphas to generate the content. Instead we'll go through the process of sculpting out the main forms of the rocks and focus on generating detail that will aid you in the creation of your normal or displacement maps. I will overview the basic but powerful tools I use in Zbrush to help create our assets. We will overview topology options as well and basic previewing of our assets for quick iterations and contextual feedback. We will also be going over ways to speed up our asset creation process.
